The weight that wouldn’t move

7 October 2025

There was a time when i gave everything.
Every rep. Every drop of sweat. Every hour i could steal from sleep.

Three years passed.. and i was still small. Still invisible.
Still staring into the mirror, wondering why i wasn't like them.
Why they grew… and i didn't.

So i trained harder.
Ate more.
Pushed until my hands bled and my body shook.

And yet.. nothing changed.
The mirror still showed the same reflection.
The same arms. The same frame.
Just a little stronger. A little tougher.
But still not enough.

I started to question everything.
Was i doing something wrong?
Was i even meant for this?
Or was i chasing something i could never reach?

While others grew faster, bigger, stronger…
I stayed behind.. watching, pretending it didn't hurt.

But inside, i was breaking.
My world was falling apart, one silent thought at a time.

Maybe i wasn't built for this.
Maybe the dream i was chasing was never mine to catch.

But something inside refused to die.
Even when everything else did.

Still, i couldn't stop.
Even when progress felt invisible.
Even when hope faded.
Even when the only thing heavier than the weight was my own doubt.

Because deep down, I knew...
The weight that doesn't move teaches you more than the one that does.
The weight that doesn't move builds something deeper than strength.
And maybe… this pain was shaping something no one else could see.
